HYDERABAD BOMBS ATTACK
On 08/25/2007, at about 19:30 local time, eleven bombs exploded minutes apart in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh state in East center India. Seven bombs were defused after they failed to explode.
One explosion rocked an amusement park, killing at least nine people, while other blasts hit a popular eating place miles away.
More then 40 people have been killed and about 50 people were injured in the blasts that happened in Lumbini Park and in an open-air auditorium, which was packed with families, watching a laser light show.
No group took, yet, responsibility on the attack and the investigation is too premature to point a finger to a certain identification of the perpetrators of the attack.
Andhra Pradesh’s PM hinted on Sunday 08/26/2007 that Islamic extremist from Bangladesh are behind the attack.
On 05/13/2008 evening at about 19:15, a similar attack, based, probably, on the same infrastructure carried out the Jaipur Bombings.
