USTAZ IDRIS FINALLY ARRESTED IN
THE PHILIPPINES
The founding member of Abu Sayyaf Ustadz Ahmadsali Asmad Badron, also known as Ammad or Hamad Ustaz Idris, was arrested by police authorities, Saturday 07/28/2012 , in the remote Tawi-Tawi islands in the southern Philippines. Badron, who worked with Galib Andang (alias Commander Robot), a notorious Abu Sayyaf leader, has been implicated in major kidnapping operations in Sulo and Basilan islands.
"Badron was among the trusted members of (Abu Sayyaf) who made millions of pesos in ransom money collected from their operations," said Edgar Danao, Chief of Criminal Investigation in the region.
