Shehzad  Tanweer, a British citizen, was born on 12/15/1982 in Bradford to a family from Pakistani descent. His father came to UK from Faisalabad region in Pakistan. At the age of two, in 1984, Shehzad  Tanweer s’ family moved to Beeston near Leeds, to Mohammad Sidique Khan’s neighborhood. Shehzad  Tanweer, studied at the Deobandi seminary in Dewsbury and Mohammad Sidique Khan, were regular worshippers at the adjoining Tablighi-Jamaat Mosque.

Shehzad  Tanweer was described as politically moderate by his friends, who knew him as an outstanding sportsman and excelling at cricket. He was a student in Leeds Metropolitan University and worked occasionally in his father's fish and chips shop.

In 2003 Shehzad  Tanweer went to fulfill the Hajj in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.

In early 2004 he traveled to Pakistan to attend Islamic studies in a Madrasa. He did not attend a specific Mosque although he prayed regularly.

Shehzad  Tanweer met frequently Mohammad Sidique Khan and Hasib Mir Hussain when he volunteered to work with deprived youth in the Leeds in Hamara Youth Access Point (HYAP), an Islamic charity, partly funded by the UK government, a drop-in center for teens in Leeds. In HYAP Mohammad Sidique Khan, probably, recruited Shehzad  Tanweer to his terror cell and to the London 7/7 attack

On the morning of 07/07/2005 Shehzad  Tanweer, with his three friends, traveled with a car from Leeds to Luton, 30km north of London, and took the train from Luton to King’s Cross station in London. Shehzad  Tanweer blew himself up on 08:51 in the tube between Liverpool and Aldgate East stations under Edgware Road. A parallel passing train was also damaged.
