WAFIQ SAFA
 Wafiq Safa was born in Lebanon in the early 60s'. He is the head of the Hizbullah's internal security apparatus and the depute of the Iranian Gen Hossein Mahadavi, the top liaison and coordination officer of Iran to the Hizbullah in Lebanon.
In 2008 Wafiq Safa handled Israel's prisoner swap with Hezbollah. In 2009 Wafiq Safa was one of three senior Hizbullah operatives who invested and lost funds with Lebanese businessman Salah Ezzadine, who has been nicknamed the 'Lebanese Madoff' after being accused of losing over a billion dollars of his clients' money.
According to the wall Street Journal, on Monday 11/08/2010, the special UN-STL tribunal probing the Rafik Hariri murder, known as the Special Tribunal Lebanon – STL implicated Wafiq Safa, alongside other senior Hizbullah operatives like Imad Mughniyah and Mustafa Badr al-Din with the assassination of the former Lebanese PM Rafik Hariri in Beirut, on 02/14/2005 (see - Wissam al-Hassan).
In 08/2010 Wafiq Safa handed over to LST a dossier allegedly implicating Israel with Hariri's assassination.
