NORWEGiAN CONVERT AWAITING TO ATTACK

A trained terrorist from Norway, who goes under the Islamic name of Muslim Abu Abdurrahman, is awaiting orders to carry out an attack on the West, officials from three European security agencies have revealed on 06/26/2012.

The Norwegian in n his 30s with no immigrant background is believed to have received terrorist training from Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula – AQAP in Yemen and is ready to strike. Western intelligence officials have long feared such a scenario – a convert to Islam who is trained in terrorist methods and can blend in easily in Europe and the USA., traveling without visa restrictions. Officials from three European security agencies confirmed the man is ‘operational’. They declined to name the man, who has not been accused of a crime and a specific target has not been established .

The alleged suspect converted to Islam in 2008, he quickly became radicalized and traveled to Yemen to receive terror training. The man spent ‘some months’ in Yemen and is still believed to be there, a Norwegian security official said. The official said the man has no criminal record, which would also make him an ideal recruit for Al Qaeda.

Yemeni military officials said they had information on Europeans training with Al Qaeda in the southern part of the country but that they weren’t aware of a Norwegian being among them.

In March 2012, Mullah Krekar was sentenced to five years in prison for making death threats against Norwegian officials and three Kurdish men he claimed had insulted Islam.

In a rare speech by Jonathan Evans, the head of MI5. He highlighted concerns over the pipeline of home-grown, radicalised Muslims travelling to terrorist training camps in Yemen, Somalia and the African Sahel (see also -70 U.K Jihadis).

According to media reports, on Sunday 07/01/201, Muslim Abu Abdurrahman was believed to have been in the southeastern town of Azzan, the longtime home of AQAP, until last month. He then moved to Dammaj, a town in the north.Security officials claimed he have selected a target, believed to be a US passenger jet, and should be seen in the context of Al-Qaeda’s continuing ambitions to blow up American planes. It is a fair assumption that the attack is scheduled to the London Olympic games between 07/27/2012 and 08/12/2012 (see also – Olympic Arrests 06.28.12).

 

* According to the Norwegian daily ‘Tagbladet”, on 07/05/2012, Muslim Abu Abdurrahman is now 33 years in age, was a former leftist with impeccable repute, born and raised in the Oslo area. He grew up with white, Norwegian parents and had his days in the environment around the Blitz.On resume, he listed jobs in construction companies and a kindergarten. The man has a family member who works in a ministry and he is married to a diplomat’s daughter.

The Dagbladet is told that the 33-year-old and a small group of very conservative contacts several times visited both the Rabita Mosque in Calmeyers street in Oslo, and a Mosque in Drammen. Rabita mosque run by the Islamic Association, and is one of the most famous Mosques in Norway.
