– MARIB EXPLOSION KILLED 3

 

 

On Wednesday 04/16/2008 three policemen were killed and a civilian by passer wounded in an explosion in Marib, about 170 km East of Sanaa, Yemen’s capital. The bomb exploded as they were parking their car near the Local police station at the spot where the policemen parked every day. The attack is probably related to militants affiliated to the local branch of Al Qaeda.

The blast was the latest in a series of recent attacks, including two targeting US interests and claimed by Al Qaeda.

On Sunday 04/06/2008 night, a villas compound housing American oil experts in Sanaa, was hit by three rockets. (See – Sanaa 04.06.08 )
