– OSAMA’S NEW AUDIOTAPE
On 12/29/2007, Al Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden posted in the web a 56 minutes audiotape referring, mainly, to Iraq and tries also to benefit from the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
The tape did not mention Pakistan or the assassination of Benazir Bhutto and therefore it is assumed that the tape was made before the assassination.
Speaking about Iraq and to the recently established Suuni tribes militias fighting alongside USA against Al Qaeda with success, Osama Bin Laden said they “have betrayed the nation and brought disgrace and shame to their people. They will suffer in life and in the afterlife”. The new audiotape emphasizes that Al Qaeda in Iraq is, indeed, under tremendous pressure and on the defense.
“We will not recognize even one inch for Jews in the land of Palestine as other Muslim leaders have,” Osama Bin Laden pledged, referring to the Israeli- Palestinian conflict.
Osama Bin Laden’s audiotapes became a routine with declining influence on the Muslim world.
