* Mohammed Tasir Hassan Al-Khatib was born in Gaza Strip in 1956 under Egyptian rule.
In early 80’s Mohammed T. Al-Khatib lived in UK and kept close relations with his brother-in-law Sami al-Arian, later the US PIJ Cell ringleader in Tampa, Florida, USA.
Mohammed T. Al-Khatib moved to US, probably following his brother-in-law, Sami al-Arian. He became a member and treasurer of the “Shura Council” based in Tampa, Florida and active member in the US PIJ Cell.
On 02/20/2003 the FBI in USA indicted, in absentia, Mohammed T. Al-Khatib in connection with the US PIJ Cell, on charges that he was engaged in a number of violent activities within the United States, conspiracy to provide material support and resources to the PALESTINIAN Islamic Jihad (PIJ), engaging in various acts of interstate extortion, perjury and obstruction of justice. He became, legally, fugitive from the American authorities.
Today (10/2007) Mohammed T. Al-Khatib is at large and lives in Beirut, Lebanon.
