* Naveed Rashid Hussain Khan was born in 1980 in Kuwait. His mother is a Pakistani woman who worked as an Islamic teacher in Kuwait. She died in Kuwait from kidney collapse. After her death Naveed Hussain’s father returned to Mumbai and remarried.
Naveed Hussain worked as a call centre employee In Hyderabad, India, but most of his family lives in Mumbai. He also owns an apartment on Mira Road in Mumbai near the Faizal Sheikh’s house and is his long time friend.
Naveed Hussain was arrested on 10/01/2006. According to the Indian prosecution Naveed Hussain helped assemble bombs used in the Mumbai trains Bombing on 07/11/2006. He attended conspiracy meetings related to the attack and personally planted the bomb which exploded at Bandra station.
On 21/08/2007 Naveed Hussain’s trial, alongside 12 other defendants in the Mumbai Trains Bombing case, was opened in Mumbai.
* Abdul Wahid Mohammed Din Shaikh is a former SIMI – Students Islamic Movement of India activist. He continued his activity with Asif Bashir Khan, alias Junaid, after SIMI was banned on 09/28/2001.
According to the Indian prosecution Abdul Wahid Din Shaikh rented an apartment in Mumbra, a Mumbai suburb, for Pakistani terrorists Ammu Jan, Sabir, Abu Bakr, Kasam Ali, Abu Hasan and Mohammad Ehsaanullah who brought with him most of the R.D.X explosive used in the Mumbai Trains Bombing. They infiltrated India through Bangladesh in order to facilitate the attack in coordination with Majid Mohammed Shafi
