– 6 BOOBY TRAPPED CARS EXPLODED IN GAZA
–
Six explosions have rocked Gaza City, on Sunday 07/19/2015 morning, targeting cars belonging to officials from Islamic factions, including the territory’s Hamas rulers.
Local media reported that two people were injured in Sunday morning’s blast. Health officials could not immediately confirm the information.
The charred vehicles were parked outside the houses of the local officials in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood. There was no immediate claim of responsibility, however witnesses said a freshly painted Islamic State group flag was seen at the site of the explosions.
Hamas recently launched a fierce crackdown on alleged IS supporters in the tiny coastal enclave. A security source said three of the cars belonged to members of Hamas and two to Islamic Jihad members.
