– ISRAEL STRUCK IN SYRIA’S QALAMOUN MOUNTAINS

According to Arab news channels – Al-Jazeera T.V Network and Al-Arabiya. on Saturday 04/25/2015 morning Israeli Air Force – IAF planes targeted 2 weapons convoys on Wednesday 04/22/2015. The targets were the 155th and 65th brigades of the Syrian army, which deal with strategic weapons and long-range missiles, on the Syrian-Lebanese border;

Israeli fighter jets allegedly hit Syrian and HezbUllah targets on the Syria-Lebanon border Friday overnight, According to sources quoted by Al Jazeera, the attack in al-Qalamoun, the Strategic passage between Damascus, the Hizbullah controlled area in the Beqaa Valley in Lebanon and the Alawite dominated areas in North-West Syria on the Mediterranean coast. Al-Qalamoun mountains is a constant battlefield between Syrian Sunni rebels and Pro-Assad and Iranian forces. The battle for Qalamoun has the potential to overpower the war in Syria and a Sunni victory is an existential threat to Assad’s regime, Iranian interests and the Hizbullah (see also – SYRIAN DILEMA ). Recently Assad’s regime and its co-partners in Syria are under immense pressure following a series of successes of the Sunni militants, led by Jabhat al-Nusra in Northern Syria

On Saturday 04/25/2015 the Jihadi coalition captured the northwestern Syrian town of Jisar al-Shughour, for the first time in the four-year-old conflict consolidating the Islamist grip on Northern Syria, on the border with Turkey and strengthening the threat on the Alawite enclave along the Syrian Mediterranean. .

The sources reported several explosions in the Syrian towns of Al-Qutayfah, Yabroud and Qarah on the outskirts of Damascus.
