– 20 KILLED IN CAMEROON SUICIDE BOMBING

At least 20 people were killed. on Saturday 07/25/2015 night , in a suspected suicide bomb attack carried out by a child on a bar in Maroua, about 650 k”m North-East to the capital Yaounde in the far north of Cameroon just days after 13 died in twin bombings in the city, state TV said on Sunday.
State television reported that a 12-year-old girl suicide bomber blew herself up in the bar, killing 20 people and injuring at least 79 in the blast. An earlier toll put the number of dead at 14.Although there was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack, but the north of the country has been repeatedly targeted by Nigeria-based Boko Haram extremists. Nigeria has a long common border with Western Cameroon stretches on over 1,300 k”m from the Atlantic Ocean deep to the Sahara Desert .
The atrocity came a day after Boko Haram were also blamed for a wave of a attacks on villages across the border in northeastern Nigeria that left at least 25 dead and forced hundreds more to flee their burning homes.
Cameroon’s army has joined the regional military offensive against Boko Haram after suffering repeated deadly raids into its territory.
